Conversations with the canvas
Without the stretcher, the canvas returns to its organic nature. The folds interact with the light and the shadows creating intimate immense spaces where I can get lost in thought. Erotic, sensual, playful, and mysterious, the folds create shapes open for interpretation.
The work allows the canvas to redefine itself.
The work exists between the worlds of painting and sculpture.
